What is an ethical password recovery, password retrieval or password cracking service?

Password recovery or password cracking is the breaking of the encryption used to protect or secure the file, encrypted document or archive in order to gain access to the contents.

To whom do we offer this service?

We offer this service to organizations and individuals who have lost access to encrypted and/or password protected files containing valuable data. Note: files must be owned by you or your organization and/or otherwise have a demonstrable right to open.

Our clients include businesses and organizations in the health sciences field, hospitals, colleges & universities, financial institutions, real-estate holding and investment corporations, accountancy firms, notary public offices, law offices as well as the defense supply industry.

What do we open?

The most common file types include password protected or encrypted: .zip, .pdf, .xls, .docx, MS Office, Office365 & Apple Secure notes. The number and types of files we cover in our service offerings is too long to list. If you do not see it listed please ask.

Note: We are in the process of expanding our services of opening cryptocurrency wallets (Bitcoin/Litecoin/Ethereum being the most common).

How do we do it?

Skill-set and processing power. Discovery can be just as important as the tools you use. ie. knowing where to look and then selecting the most efficient tactic and tools for that purpose.

Why us?

Trust. We are identifiable and can provide references and sources. This is important as the most common reason for encrypting documents is to protect privacy or financial value (banking). The majority of the documents we open are financially or legally sensitive. We are pleased to speak with you via phone, Zoom or in an in person meeting if logistically possible.

How are we different?

There are many excellent tools that run on PCs or servers for businesses and law enforcement to use (brands starting with C & G). The challenge with those tools is that they have a pre-determined methodology. Depending on the situation a pre-determined method may hinder your efforts to open a file. ie. sometimes you may need sophistication - sometimes you may require power - often both. That is where we come in.

We do not simply use one tool or off the shelf software suite - we use many different tools including some lesser known ones.

To address the elephant in the room: over the counter software often utilized by businesses and law enforcement uses well known and common techniques/strategies. There may be other methods they are unaware of.
